How was the project carried out?
Real Heroes are the ones who work in and around us without any acknowledgement
- Unsung Heroes is a project that revolves around recognising people who do our daily chores without being acknowledged or appreciated for it. It also makes the members experience the work of these heroes.
- The first segment of this project was replacing roles with car washers and doing exactly what they do to earn themselves and their families a living.
- For the same, we contacted a few members from the general body and got in touch with 2 car washers from Rtr.Amey Vasu’s building.
- We explained our initiative to them and got them confirmed.
- Permission was taken from the owners of the cars.
- We confirmed 5 cars for the project.
- Fruit baskets were made for the two car washers as mementos.
- Customised bookmarks were made for the members coming for the project.
- A date to carry out the project was acquired in the dates meeting.
- The project was announced in the General Body Meeting.
- A Phone Chain was passed a day prior to the meeting.
- Members were divided into 5 groups consisting of 2 members and a car was assigned to each group.
- The two car washers were made to head all groups and instruct them on how to go about the process of washing cars.
- The things required to wash the car were arranged for in advance.
- Members began the washing of cars.
- Post completion of work, the car washers were felicitated and honored by the members.
- The bookmarks were distributed among all members.
- The project was then called off.

- We have always heard that no work is big or small and every kind of work is respectable.
- Through this project, we made this phrase more meaningful in the eyes of the members
- The project made members realize the value of people who do our daily chores before completing theirs.
- It turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
Why was the project done?
- Unsung Heroes is a project that teaches us the value of people who do odd jobs without getting any appreciation or acknowledgement.
- The project was started for members to get into the shoes of these heroes and experience their daily battles.
- It was also for all those heroes who think about us and then their own households.
- The project was a celebration of the unsung heroes.
- We wanted them to be voiced and honored by lie own members.
